V8 SUPERCARS CHAMPIONSHIP

James Courtney vence a 3° corrida do final de semana em Adelaide e lidera o campeonato.

Na abertura do campeonato Australiano de carros de Turismo, o V8 Supercars Championship James Courtney da equipe HRT acabou o final de semana na liderança. Na primeira corrida ele terminou na 10° colocação, a viória foi fo campeão Jamie Whincup da equipe Triple Eight. Na 2° corrida ele conquistou o podio chegando na 2° colocação, a vitória foi de Fabian Coulthard da equipe Brad Jones. Finalmente na última corrida Courtney largou na pole e após uma disputa ferrenha com Shane Van Gisbergen ele prevaleceu e cruzou a linha de chegada em primeiro com Gisbergen (Tekno) logo atrás e Garth Tander da equipe HRT fechando o pódio da última corrida em Adelaide. A próxima etapa da V8 acontece junto com a abertura da temporada da Fórmula 1 no dia 15 de Março em Melbourne.
